Following on from his class win at Hooton Park, 6 year old Adam Croft put in a strong performance for another podium finish at the Fulbeck Bambino meeting Saturday 15th October. With dry, sunny and warm conditions, the day was perfect for the 7 competing drivers. Adam's 1st session provided steady 1"06's, more a reflection of the setup rather than the driver.
On session 2, the Huddersfield driver set a best time of 1'04"55 beating his previous best set in June. During the next 2 sessions the time gradually reduced to low 1'04's and the team started to wonder whether a 1'03 was on the cards.
Sure enough session 5 saw Adam deliver his best time of the day with a 1'03"68 which was just over 0.8seconds behind the eventual winning time. Reflecting on the day Adam's dad said "We've had another great day at Fulbeck. Adam is really enjoying his karting and it's great that he managed to drop his lap time by over a second from his previous best."
